For over a decade, I’ve been crafting musicals that aim to delight, move, and connect. My work has been produced hundreds of times around the world, bringing me into rooms with Broadway veterans, brilliant collaborators, and imaginative young audiences.
Whether the world of a show is fantastical, human, or both, I strive to make every lyric feel honest and alive. I love writing for adults and kids alike, and I believe in the magic of rhyme.
Right now, I’m thrilled to be working on a musical adaptation of From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. I’m also juggling four other new musicals in development, each one challenging me in the best possible way and helping me grow the kind of body of work I’ve always hoped to build - one that speaks to the heart and the head.
Outside of writing, I’m a mom to two awesome kids, Toby and Gracie, who constantly inspire me with their curiosity, humor, and sense of wonder. This site is my little corner of the internet — a place to share my work and connect with brilliant artists. Thank you for visiting!
